Arizona Looks to Outlaw Internet Trolling

Arizona Looks to Outlaw Internet Trolling | Techland | TIME.com

It is unlawful for any person, with intent to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend, to use ANY ELECTRONIC OR DIGITAL DEVICE and use any obscene, lewd or profane language or suggest any lewd or lascivious act, or threaten to inflict physical harm to the person or property of any person.
Those, who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.
On the Internet you can be anything you want. It's strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

Are they going to hunt us down through our IP addresses or what? What a waste of time and effort.

    Dumb.

    There are liberals in Arizona?
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

That's not trolling; that's cyber bullying and stalking. And those offenses should be met with the law.

    Very true.

    Jeremy

EDIT - I think the opponents are way over analyzing this. It's clearly designed for bullying and stalking. Kids have killed themselves over that. I think it's a pretty serious topic.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

To much easily abused leeway in the language, if the quote is accurate.

I'm quite sure I have offended and annoyed a few people here, but that's largely a matter of perception, I'd say.

I'm sure Zelstein, Frosted, or The Todd would press the issue, but I assure you, if someone attempts to take me into custody based on my internet postings, a first amendment issue might quickly become a second amendment issue.
