A 91 TT we took in on trade from a long time customer of ours when he bought Hans' Spyder. Sold it to another customer of ours, whose older brother has a 94 VR4.

The biggest problem is the new owners didn't go through the "growing pains" of getting / keeping these cars in great condition. They buy it without that "appreciation" and here you see the result.

Fortunately, the customer was fine, but we see this so often, it's quite scary. Young kids buying these cars, not keeping up on maintenance either due to lack of funds or just sheer ignorance, and crashing them. We had been warning this customer for a while that he needed new tires BADLY, and ASAP. He never got new tires, and crashed in the rain.
