hahah I'm so glad that I'm not the only one here with a computer that is nearing ancient times. If I hadn't upgraded my vid card a year ago there's no way I could rock it on my 3.4 P4 single core. pwahahah I love it!

Hey hey hey... Don't be dissing the 3.4Ghz P4 now... That's what I'm running... Lol. But in all reality I just need more RAM. My video card is up to the task, I've just been skimping on the memory. O well. I'm overdue for a new computer anyway.

The more you learn and understand multiplayer the more fun it is. And the campaign is completely different so dont get all hyped up when you beat the last level on brutal, that you'll go diamond. I recommend watching videos on the challenges and doing those. Or this youtube guy my bro learned just about everything he knows about the game:

This is the first rts I ever got any good at, and it's intimidating at first, but theres tons of information on how to play online, WATCH the replays that you lose, or even if you win and it was close. The replay system is very useful. And watch the pros that play your race, I get these from sc2win.com personally.

    anyone want to play?

*high five* That is awesome. To be honest, this damn CPU is definitely holding it's own. How much RAM do you have now? I'm sure you can make the game work I'm running it with an ATI Radeon 3800, P4 3.4 single core , 3 gigs of RAM and an SB Audigy...and am amazed that it runs so well.

Also, Venik, thanks for the pointers. I will be sure to check out that video and look up some strategies in order to get my game up when I get the time. My buddy is pretty good at the game too but he's never on when I am so that I can learn

    Oh definitely. Multiplayer >>> campaign.

My problems with rts are my actions per minute (apm). I really need to work on that. I never played competitively (WoW arena is the first time I've actually put in the time to get good at a video game) so I have to get in that mindset.

Eric...sorry...I have to be at work at 6. Didnt you see the fire near elsinore in the cleveland national forest? That's how I get overtime hahah Gotta take it where I can get it this season. I will probably be on all the damn time towards the end of November when school and work ends...right around when everyone else will be getting tired of the game lol

Bumping this thread because I am attempting to make a merge from WoW to SC2 since it's much more time-friendly.

Have yet to do multiplayer, but I did finish the campaign on normal just to see the cinematics. They look so awesome on max video settings! I love my new rig.

i replayed the campaign when they released the "extreme" graphics settings (only work son single player, not MP). looks absolutely beautiful.
