What is the speed rating of the tires? Could be another accident waiting to happen.

I have a feeling that in a few years, we'll hear a lot more about driveshaft failures from stock cars, just from people who engage in stoplight races or occasionally take it to the track. It really doesn't make any sense to have cut corners on the driveshaft, as others have noted, it would cost ~$250 for one of us to put an upgraded shaft on it? That probably equates to about $50 for Ford to have done it with a proper size/strength DS from the get go.

Lot's of those too but I guess you could say I'm more of a Chevy guy when it comes to domestics.

I'd give my left nut for a ford GT though.

I believe they are T, which is 118 mph. They use the Michelin energy savers, which is another trick they're using to get the 31mpg.

As ABM said, CAFE laws are governing car design and production, for the worse.
