The facts that the BCS is flawed and two undeserving teams made it to a BCS game, you're right those wont change. But hopefully this travisty of a bowl game will lead to the end of the current BCS system, and bring in a new system that enables the most deserving teams a chance to play on the national stage! Go Hoakies!

Oh and you can join the alumin association if you just went to the University, or you want to be a donor. More people have graduated from Michigan State than Michigan. 460,000 for MSU compared to 425,000 for Michigan. Thanks.

Want some cheese to go with that?

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

The team, I've never been to the city so I won't comment.

Seriously Adam, MWC? Come on. When they play some premier teams we can talk, until then I'm NOT in the "Boise believer" camp. They've done nothing to prove they can compete with the major conferences.

And if Boise were playing Michigan I'd gladly take that bet. I'd probably take it for MSU as well. Texas, I think you're right, they might have the Horns licked . . .

And the alumin association isn't comprised of only people who have graduated from the University... read what I posted smart guy And actually in the latest study, MSU students are more saught after than Michigan students, just saying. (39th compared to 52). So it appears our quality is higher too

You mean like beating Georgia this year? Or winning two BCS bowls since 2006 (more than Michigan), one of which was against Oklahoma? You're right though, they haven't done anything to prove they can compete with the major conferences at all...

Boise has proven they can beat good teams from major conferences once a year. What they haven't proven is if they can do it throughout the season. That's through no fault of their own, but I personally believe they could not. They'd be a middle-of-the-road team in the SEC or Big 12.

Woah, really? Beating up on Georgia wasn't enough to convince you they're legit? TCU isn't exactly a bad team.

And what exactly did Michigan do this year that has you so confident? Didn't play Wisconsin. Didn't play Penn State. Barely beat a very down Ohio State team. Nebraska was your only quality win and we all know Texas would have beaten them You lost to a bad Iowa team who lost to Iowa State. #42 SOS vs Boise's #69... Texas' was #4.

Seriously, with a month to prepare, I like Boise's chances against damn near any team. OU in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl. Oregon to start 2009. TCU in the 2009 Fiesta Bowl. VTech to start 2010. Georgia to start 2011... They're a well coached, well designed team that plays better than the sum of its parts.

While I agree with that, I was picturing a bowl game scenario. Not playing Michigan every week for a season

I'll gleefully admit that MSU got shafted in this.

    And I love it

The BCS has never been fair its always been about money. Anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Bitch all you want. College football won't change unless someone comes up with a plan to make it more fair and protect the money. Until that happens we'll be stuck with the BCS and schools being picked based on draw.

Well at least you admit it :P That's more than most Michigan fans.

My playoff plan would still include the payouts for the major bowl games in the playoff. So everyteam in the playoff stands to make more money than they would playing in just one game. Also the 8 higher seeds also have an additional home game, which would bring in extra money too!
