WTF are you talking about? Cops are not our parents. They cannot simply dole out summary punishments at their own whim, they cannot justify their actions with "because I say so", and they most certainly cannot treat the public with the same utter lack of respect that a parent has for a misbehaving five year old.

Go ahead and take that approach the next time a cop pulls you over for something. I'd be interested in hearing how that works out for you.

Believe it or not, they weren't there to antagonize the police...and I'm pretty sure they dropped her charges (along with thousands of others they laid that day).

If a cop pulls you over it's because of something (regularly) like you said, they were having a pacific protest, what the cop did was completely uncalled for, therefore two cops and the chief are on administrative leave, I guess that shows that they weren't completely right don't you think?

I don't like the police,but I do respect them. If a member of the military or police tells me to do something I will comply if it's a reasonable request.No need to be stupid
