    Ah Ohio State...

well my prediction was correct we had to lose to miami... we could have won had we just actually ran the ball every play. We have like 4 monster running backs...

GOOD F'ING BYE JOE (ol 3 and out) Bauserman... I knew this game was a loss last week. Our starting "QB" was like 2/12 and they kept putting him back in. I don't care if the new guy fumbles EVERY snap, get him game time. He can throw down field and not out of bounds every time.

Such a painful game to watch.

I see Texas found its QB, congrats, now if our coach hasnt he is an idiot... Its like playing tresselball and tressel isnt even making the calls...

I'm sorry ahead of time for the beating you guys are about to take. WVU looks good but everything I've seen from LSU so far makes them look like world beaters. I really can't think of anyone they will lose to this year. That defense is stellar.

Good luck to you though. If anyone can pull it off it's WVU. Plus it will be funny to watch the post-game couch-burning activities if they pull it off.

I've watched their two games that are worth mentioning, Oregon and Miss. St. They shut Oregon the eff down, but I'm not sold on Oregon(yes, I know I'm in the general minority on that one). Miss. St. was able to move the ball pretty well, and LSU's offense isn't very impressive, IMO. So far I've seen very one dimensional play with Ware being the real weapon. HOWEVER, they're getting Russell Shepard back for this game, and that concerns me. If they can create a legitimate threat in the air(and Shepard is 100% badass), coupled with Ware's killer ability to run the ball, we could be in BIG trouble if we go into lazy mode.

Our DC, Jeff Casteel is pretty good about keeping his playbook in his pocket until it's really needed. Obviously, this is our marquis game and I hope he's got some good schemes up his sleeve. As well as Holgorsen, I think he's got some looks not yet seen on tape.

I was less than impressed with our ability to stop the run this week. Ware is a beast, and we have to shut him down. Which we *can* do, but I don't want to see a sell out for the run and then start getting burned by quick crossing patterns(ala what Auburn did to us at Jordan-Hare)

Best case, we jump out quick and hold off an inevitable 2nd half comeback(like we did this week). More likely case, we see a repeat of the LSU v. Miss. St. game...and I wouldn't be mad at that.

Yes, if we win...dear gawd the streets of Morgantown. *shudders*

    Let's gooooo Mountaineers!

Can't wait to see how Holgorsen attacks that brutal LSU defense.

And what the heck happened in the second half against Maryland?!

I think we started looking forward to LSU at halftime. In short, we got lazy/cocky, went on autopilot, and Maryland exploited such.

^A strong contender on the list of excuses, for sure. My word, those uni's are awful.

Earyl line is LSU -6, not bad, I'll take it. I'll be watching the game with my parents, before they hitch up and move to Florida on Monday. I am so nervous, need to get sooo much work done this week and all I can think about is the damn game, lol.

If I were a gambler (or an LSU fan), I'd probably jump on that. That said, here's to WVU scoring their first W over the SEC since 2008 (Auburn) Ironically, you guys lost by 6 last season @ LSU. Has LSU really gotten that much better since then?

Additionally, J, where do you think WVU will end up? ACC or SEC? Which would you prefer?
