What did you do today to your 3/S?

I started tearing my Stealth apart to get going on the conversion to the GTO. So far, so good, nothing has broken, and I don't suspect anything will break. All I need to do is pull the tail lights, rear bumper, and hatch/quarter glass. I can then junk the Stealth shell, and bring the GTO in the shop for it's engine out overhaul.

It's T/T yes. It has to be out of here by the end of the week is the thing though. I'm not allowed to have two anymore, so one has to go whether I like it or not, and I'd rather scrap the one that doesn't run/hardly complete, than the functional one.

that's a damn shame. z16's should never be sent to the scrapyard while the frame is still in serviceable shape.

I'll negotiate with my dad about it tonight when he gets home. I'd really rather not junk it, If I can have someone from the community come get it, I'd much rather that. There's only one dent on it too, other than that no real rust or damage. I'll let you guys know when I do if it can be kept around for someone to come get.

Start an independent thread about this, we can start stating how much of a waste it would be to just trash the shell of a TT car. Show your dad, hell bring him in on the conversation about who is coming to get it so he doesn't feel he is being strung along about just keeping it and taking up space in his yard.

Averaged 23.5 mpg on the Stealth not beating on it and the AC on. My old 94 SL averaged 24-25mpg. My old Accord only got about 26 mpg with 140 hp and not as much fun to drive.

an on topic note: i didn't put too many miles on her. and spent a good amount of the day thinking about what i'd get for her next. currently i'm thinking the nicest think i could do for her would be to get her a secretary to handle some of the overflow work. found an applicant for an $800 hire on. if i can stop picking up things for ani, i might be able to make this happen.
