In light of Chris being in the hospital so much and Vicki with him all the time, I am going to go ahead and get the auction house live so we can start to get things listing and get traffic to the site.

This is just like an ebay auction. Certain things you have to pay fees on in order to list the item. The only difference is those fees are a direct donation to Chris to help him fight cancer. When you create an auction your will be required to pay the donation fee before the auction goes live. All payments must be made through Paypal directly into Vicki's paypal account. This is not just for car parts. you can auction anything and everything you want as long as it is legal and not hazardous!!!


Here is the fee tier:

Home Page Feature - $0.25
Highlighted Item - $0.25
Image upload - Free
Relist Fee - Free
Bold Item - $0.25
Reserved Price - $0.25
Buy Now - $0.50


Final Price fee schedule is percentage based on final sale price and is as follows
$0.01 - $49.99 : 2%
$50.00 - $99.99 : 2.5%
$100.00 - $199.99 : 3%
$200.00 - $499.99 : 3.5%
$500.00 - $999.99 : 4%
$1,000.00 - $4,999.99 : 5%
$5,000.00+ : 8%

All sellers are responsible for posting shipping prices. Unfortunatly this is not a high tech auction so there is no auto shipping calculator. Please use you best judgement in posting a shipping price. Any shipping price you post is final. You cannot contact the buyer and ask for more money if you shorted yourself on the original shipping price.

Donation Items
If you have an item that you want to donate, please post it up as you normally would and PM me so I can waive the donation fees! Once you create the auction and it sends you to Paypal do not pay the fees! Just close out of the window and let me know. I can manually set the auction live without having to pay the fees. If you pay the fee I cannot refund them as they go into Vicki and Chris's account. What I have to do for the Donations Items is waive the fee through the auction software. So when you created the auction and it sends you to Paypal just ignore it and go back to the auction. It will show as a pending auction in your account. At that point I can activate it and you don't get hit with the fees.

You will process the auction and ship just like a normal auction. Once the item sells and you receive payment please be sure to transfer that money to Vicki's Paypal account. This seems to be the best option without having to deal with transferring money to cover shipping, mailing items to one person to sell, ETC.

I am hoping to not have issues with this as it is really going off of a person honesty that they will transfer the funds after the item sells.

Also please specify in the title or Body of the auction that your item is a full donation to the Chris.

So we use the aution link to list the item, and then the donation link once we get paypal'd? All my stuff is donation items so waive the fees for me if you would sir.

You do not need to register to see the items. Just to bid and sell. Items are now starting to show up on the auction site.
