At least it wasn't a blocked turbo oil drain line this time. :awesome: You can easily take care of this one. Haha. It all happens to the best of us when we forget things. I usually end up misplacing something before I forget a step.
About that drain line :suspect:

If it makes you feel any better...I'm only just 34 (turned last sunday/fathers day) and have been called the absent minded professor...while doing...just about anything lol especially car related. I always seem to take twice as long on anything because I forget a step or misplace a tool or part. This has gone on for many years prior lol I hate to see how I am in another 20 years haha
Dunno if this helps ya feel better but my car is goin back into the garage this this sun/mon or next and I'm droppin the trans again...car's probably gonna be there all summer, might as well tear into other parts of the car and do more mods/upgrades *sigh* lol
If at some point in time, my car is up and running solid. I'd like to come over and meet all ya'lls though!
The sad thing is he kept saying "I'm forgetting something." I didn't catch it either so I'm as much to blame for the fuck up too. You will get it running soon. The question is what would you do with you Saturdays when it's all done and running?
My DR-built car never had that dust shield. I'm not sure if Matt left it out purposely or if was an oversight. Either way, it evidently wasn't needed as I never had an issue as a result, and that car ran great...! I daily drove that car in FL so it saw lots of weather. I'm 110% for doing things right; however, in the case I'd just leave it as-is and tackle it the next time there's a reason to drop the trans...
That is soooo tempting!!!
