hey guys, i have a pretty bad 2nd gear syncro. it grinds hard if im really on it when shifting. but when i drive slow and shift to 2nd, it doesnt grind. is there good gear oils out there that would reduce the grinding. i do plan on replacing it soon, but not at this time.
also, my shifter is pretty stift as well. any input would help. thanks guys.

It could actually be your clutch not fully disengaging too. Easy way to test is start your car, warm it up, and get on a good level surface. Now, with your car in gear, sitting still with out your brakes on, press the clutch in and rev the engine close to red line. If your clutch is not disengaging fully, your car will begin to creep. Don't let go of your clutch pedal, your not trying to launch your car, and don't hold it at that high rpm for more than a quick second.
If it does creep, bleed your slave. If it doesnt, change your fluids. A lot of people have liked BG syncroshift. Hope this helps

Make sure you get the Evo MR fluid for the Evo 8/9, not for the 10. The 10 uses something entirely different and will destroy your synchros.
