View Full Version : Drivetrain WARNING 3SX Brass shifter bushings are CRAP!

Had them on my car for 4 years. The inner diameter where it sits on the shifter wears. I had like 1mm of back and forth play in them. No wonder my shifter felt funny.
They are brass. I should have guessed they would do that. I guess I am going back to stock bushings :)

Stock is better, you don't feel every little action in the shift sequence.
If you run the brass ones put a little white grease on the posts.

I have been running the aluminum ones off of eBay for years now. No play in them at all. I'm pretty sure brass is a lot softer than aluminum so it will develop play after some time.
