I need a VCU! PHIL HELP ME!! So much wheelspin on power :/
I did pretty well, xyz brakes do NOT like the cold, they need some heat to grab like they should. The first little mini slalom I could not even engage ABS and i struck that cone. I ran a 55.5 I think my first run. The fastest part of the track is the very end, I am going about 62 mph through the traps.

My first turnaround for this run was really good, I wish I could replicate that every try. I improved 2 seconds, 53.x and a clean run. The big slalom at the end was a fun feature!

3rd run was similar time to the 2nd, another mid 53. Fighting that front wheelspin :/ I should just stay in 2nd for the turnarounds instead of dropping into first.

Different camera view, hope you can see the track better. The full track width transitions are not a strong point for my two ton beauty but I improved to a 52.9 but hit a cone. I still won my class and won the championship for 2013, another jacket coming my way!

The Ohlins are really freakin nice thats all I got to say, if you can afford them get them.

Watching now. You really toss that two ton beast around, haha. Your courses are so much slower than the courses I've been on, which does you no favors.

I thought the course look pretty quick compared to my stuff lol

That wheel spin is pretty bad, especially with coilovers and summer tires. I thought it was annoying when my inside front spins but I really have to lay on the throttle hard while cornering hard to make it happen.

How much better do you like the Ohlins over the Teins? I would love to get a serious suspension but its not in the budget for a long time, sadly.

That last one was cool! Congrats on another jacket! How many races for the season? I have to plan your demise for next year!

The stickier the tires with coilovers (minimal droop, even worse with sway bars) the worse it happens......

With a lot of grip you can transfer a lot more weight, and he is unweighting the inside front.

Serious about vcu, or do you already have plans?

I happen to know where a good one is...

I just want one from Phil but he checks his PM's bi-annually and his threads even less.

Oh, that makes sense with the sticky tires.. I would think with coilovers that the car would roll less though? I see what you mean about droop but I doubt he is picking up the front enough to lift a tire.. right?

Also, are you going with a stock VCU or Torsen? May as well through in a front LSD while your at it.

I'm not lifting a front tire but taking most of the weight off it, coupled with my blown VCU it means I am sending double torque to the front axle over a normal operating awd car :(
