Here is progression of my respray,

Thread is from the Aussie section 3months ago.

Car is actually finished today. Picking it up on Thursday.
The Painter is too dumb to take more pics and send them to me so I have to wait a week to see it.

Both front quaters were damaged, had bat shit stains on the roof, dents and hale dame on the bonnet (hood for you yankies

), got rear ended as well.
Every panel was shit up close
Plus 21years of scratches and chips all over the car.
Side skirts and the lower door plastic side panels that go with the skirts were warped ect ect, so some things were replaced. Some items took alot of time to get perfect.....e.g. 3SX big core radiator is not meant to fit with a deft hood and the poor bloke had one hell of a job getting it to fit right.

Found a new Deft 575 Gen 1 Hood here in Aus. Was able to get the front and rear on insurance.
GTOs are Rare over here, the quotes came back at around 6-7k.

The rest of the car is out of my pocket. The Painter is a 'friend' of the family....total cost to me is $2400 plus $600 for my excess.

I lost my License for 3 months so I made the most of the time lol
