Apparently they haven't found the one for the brake hoses yet... That would have caused an embolism

What?
“What's the use of a fine house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on?”
NHTSA Recall ID: 95V103004
Mitsubishi 3000GT 1991 (91)
Mitsubishi Recall Campaign No.:
Component: SEAT BELTS:FRONT:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY
Recall Date (Y/M):1995/05
Defect: THE FRONT SAFETY BELT BUCKLE RELEASE BUTTONS CAN BREAK. THESE RED PLASTIC RELEASE BUTTONS ARE MARKED "PRESS." IF A BUTTON BREAKS, PIECES CAN FALL INTO THE BUCKLE ASSEMBLY CAUSING THE BUCKLE TO OPERATE IMPROPERLY.
Consequence: THE SAFETY BELTS WOULD NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROTECTION TO AN OCCUPANT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Corrective Action: OWNERS SHOULD PROMPTLY CHECK THE CONDITION AND OPERATION OF BOTH FRONT SAFETY BELT BUCKLES AND CAREFULLY INSPECT THE RED RELEASE BUTTON FOR ANY BREAKS OR CRACKS. THEY SHOULD ENSURE THAT BOTH BUCKLES ARE OPERATING PROPERLY BY INSERTING EACH LATCH PLATE INTO ITS BUCKLE, TUGGING ON THE BELT TO MAKE SURE THE LATCH IS SECURELY LOCKED, AND THEN PRESSING THE RELEASE BUTTON. THE LATCH PLATE SHOULD POP OUT OF THE BUCKLE WHEN THE BUTTON IS PRESSED. IF EITHER RELEASE BUTTON SHOWS A SIGN OF BREAKING OR CRACKING OR IF EITHER BUCKLE FAILS TO OPERATE PROPERLY, OWNERS SHOULD PROMPTLY CONTACT THEIR AUTHORIZED DEALER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE BUCKLE REPLACED OR REPAIRED, FREE OF CHARGE. THE MANUFACTURER IS DEVELOPING A REMEDY DESIGNED TO PREVENT FAILURE OF THE BUTTONS THAT ARE NOT CURRENTLY BROKEN.
It's a 95...
What year is the car in question?
never mind, you beat me to it..
Read above.
We're just laughing at the uninformed overprotective parents, and their google fail...
Unless you have an electric sunroof, there are no recalls that pertain to your car. The t/case recall obviously doesn't apply, the brake hose recall was 94 and prior, and the seat belt buckle recall was 91 only...
You should find out what they drive, and let me pull all the recalls on it....
I'm sure they both drive a Prius.
If they only knew what tanks these things are... They couldn't find a safer car. We just had a norcal member t-bone a tundra that pulled in front of him. fliped the tundra on it's side, messed up the hood, fenders and core support on the 3K, it was still drivable... LOL
They totaled it of course, but it did it's job and protected the driver...
