Well as far as promoting this site goes it looks like the NG did a pretty good job at that. I've seen a ton of new people on here and just looking (I'm sure you have the stats, Alan) it looks like a lot more activity.

I was thinking the same thing. I have even seen posts from new people who said they weren't even aware of this site until they were headed to the NG, so hopefully, this past week will give the site a shot of new blood.

There is nothing like a well run NG to put the C into Community. Even those that couldn't go are pumped from seeing all the pics and vids. It's been 10 years since I tracked my car and now I want to go out again. I have to think the sponsoring vendors are happy with all the buzz that NG generates too.

I was posting like a mad man on another site and ending every post with "See you at the 2011 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering in Indianapolis, IN from June 21-26!"

I was told by a person that my posts made them seek out the NG site and register.

    Hell yeah, good answer!

This site will survive and prevail. I know the heart and mentality is in the right place with this one. The people here for the most part know these cars and know the community. God help us when noobs find this one easier.

    ^This.

I have always described 3sgto as a community of car enthusiasts (people who know what's going on, care about one another, etc).

I have never felt the same way about 3si, or any other forum for that matter.

No need to dig all that up again. Let's just say there are 2 differing thoughts on how a site should be run. One thinks it's all about making money and one is here to help the community. How can we help you?
