Thread: Clutch pedal vibration, any ideas?

    It's repetitive clunking/chattering. Pedal pressure is great and there is hardly any play at all.

    Well I didn't pull the tranny yet, trying to mark off everything it could be before I do that. It appears my carrier bearings are shot though...the rear is bad enough that I can move the driveshaft 1-2 inches up and down, the front one has about a half inch of play. The u-joints are in good condition though. I'm going to order one carrier bearing for now and replace the rear, hope that solves the issue. Any other suggestions on things to check before resolving to pulling the tranny?
