    my $.02

    this has been a long-time goal of mine. i plan do do this to the bumpers & door caps. the rest i'm leaving as is. the bumpers are urethane, so i plan on having them "plastic-filled" with urethane (plastic-welding). the doors and caps are dissimilar materials, so that one is still up in the air. the key with the doors is that you don't have the stress/flex of the sideskirts/fenders.

    even if i find the door caps to be insurmountable, the fact that the 3g front bumpers are "creaseless" and the rears aren't bugs the crap outta me. i hope to have the first "creaseless" 2g rt rear bumper.

    p.s.

    it's a base guys. the wheels are a dead giveaway.

    Was this car posted in the 3si classifieds last year? I remember a one owner red 99 that had the hoop swapped on at the dealer when it was new.

    Doesn't look good IMO... way to plain. If you somehow get it to work without cracking good for you. I see this being a very frustrating venture in terms of money spent and results.
