My dad had cataracts in both eyes, and got both of his lenses replaced. One of them got dislocated while they were sealing his eye back up, so they had to do it again on that eye.

Sorry dude no idea. He passed away 2 months ago but he had no issues with it for 5 years.

Not to derail your thread, Jeremy, but I'm sure people have noticed how the price of LASIK, etc., has become so much more affordable since it first became available.

To add to that post, as Stealthdriver said, make sure to check the credentials and testimonials of the doctor. Get what you pay for certainly applies here.

Just made my appointment for my evaluation this Friday. At my regular eye doctor last year they said I was an ideal candidate. Doubtful anything has changed.

Surgeon has completed over 20,000 procedures, so no concerns there.
