Sorry dude was poking fun at plastic... As that's what we use in our cars as glass replacement. Sorry to hear he's gone mate- my condolences...

Not to derail your thread, Jeremy, but I'm sure people have noticed how the price of LASIK, etc., has become so much more affordable since it first became available.

Competition in the field of elective surgery, ftw.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

That's not a derail at all, 100% on topic.

To add to that post, as Stealthdriver said, make sure to check the credentials and testimonials of the doctor. Get what you pay for certainly applies here.

EDIT - I see what you did there, nice.

Just made my appointment for my evaluation this Friday. At my regular eye doctor last year they said I was an ideal candidate. Doubtful anything has changed.

Surgeon has completed over 20,000 procedures, so no concerns there.

    You go, Jeremy.

I'd like to do it, too, but I'm not suited, they tell me.

Kind of ashamed to admit this, but a spam e-mail I received today for LASIK services renewed my interest.

My wife had it done years ago and she loves it, no regrets for her. She had 20/17 after the surgery.
