Right now I have a senior design project which is to come up with way to automate the position of the seat and aerobars of your personal bicycle (not a fit bike) in a wind tunnel to reduce drag. Would any of you cyclists go to a bike shop to get fitted if it was a couple hundred bucks?

That's EXACTLY what I thought, "he must have missed the part in the header about without engines"

Interesting idea but for $200, I think this will probably be mostly for hardcore or competition riders only, I.e. the folks for whom every extra second counts.

From $50 which it is aprox. now to $200 I think would be out of reach unless one was TT competing on a regular basis. Around a $100 would be tempting...

I have a Giant road bike from the late 90s. I haven't ridden it in years though
I need to get it fixed and get back on the road sometime this upcoming Spring.

    2007 Trek Equinox 7 (racing)
    2004 Giant Boulder (commuting)
I haven't been riding at all since I became a Dad, but I will be getting back into it this winter (starting on the trainer). Still commute 6.5 miles round trip per day (4-5 days per week). I used to ride 80-150 miles per week depending on my training schedule, usually 20-25mi twice on the weekdays, and then 40-100 on the weekends. Got up to something like 270 in one week when training for an Ironman in 2008. Hope to get back to that next summer or the one after.

I am deserving of an upgrade on the TT bike and have been for awhile, but I just can't get myself to save up the money. Every time I start saving it ends up going to the cars or my computers... I guess I have too many hobbies, haha.
