10:1 TT AWD Virtual Dyno - Progression through tuning

For the past coupe years now I have been asked what the car has dyno'd. I always wanted to get it dyno'd but my biggest issue is that there are no close AWD dyno shops around me. So I was really glad to find out about Virtual Dyno and that it would function with MMCD.

I spent the last couple of days trying to get it to function properly due to various issues. Brad the developer of the software has been a great asset. I reached out to him with my issues though email and he always got back to me within a day. with his help I tracked the issue down to be with how MMCD Tools was configured to spit out the csv file. Once I got it set up correctly I got my first Dyno graph.

This pull is the first full throttle pull I have done in the car since the Emanage Blue upgrade from the SAFC2 I was running. The car was set at 8psi and AFR through WOT was 10.5-10.8. I tuned it rich for the first run to see how she responded. It was a good smooth pull.

My idea with this thread is that as I tune and increase boost, to show the progression of the HP/TQ numbers using the Vitrual Dyno software.

This is my base tune and starting point:

Should be interesting to see how repetitive the results are, thanks for sharing.

wow 316whp @ 8 psi... I wanna know what it would have made on the 16 psi you had awhile back

Try smoothing on 1. With AEM, any higher and it makes the graphs weird and "wavy." Also seems to show dips in power better with smoothing at 1.

Yeah I am really wondering also now. I most likely will not get back to the 16psi I was running though. I have a feeling I may peak at 13-14psi. Anything over that and the stock (b's won't hold to redline and the HP/torque will taper off. We will see.

I left it at 3 as that seems to be the normal smoothing used. I'm logging with MMCD not AEM.

Just realized I was missing some info in this thread.

Backstory: I have been unable to do anymore pulls/logs since the first one as the front end of the car has been breaking up pretty bad. At over 100 mph the front end was a mess and all over the place and very shaky I knew I needed a new halfshaft so I got one ordered from RockAuto.

Well I got the half-shaft replaced and the new one is really beefy!

I got the car aligned and I am still having some shaking in the front end. so need to get the tires balanced here in a couple weeks. Too busy the next two weekends to get it done. Probably going to just go ahead and do the ball joints also. They are original and could probably just use it anyways.
