What I did today.......

Started putting on the Jackhammer cam gears. It was too hot and too humid and so it was a pretty miserable day. I'm about 1/2 way didn't want to try setting up all the marks and tensioner while I was exhausted, dehydrated and light headed. Learned about that stuff the hard way. I hope these will help me get past the 473 mark on the dyno and get the 13T record.

I have a spanner wrench that has 2 lugs that go inbetween the openings in the gears and hold them while i bust the bolts in the cams loose, so i dont have to pull the VCs off. makes life alot easier.

yea I debated with myself for quit a bit on whether to just a make a tool or pull the covers. That rear lift point bracket, convinced me I made the wrong choice. Don't think it's going back on.

Today, I tried to track the source of a weird rattle. I think it's a pulley on the alt belt, or the power steering pump is rattling. RPM dependent noise...
