TT vs NA Oil Pan - 2nd Gen

Yes, this is for a TT conversion. My question is....

Can anybody prove or disprove that a 2nd gen TT oil pan will bolt rite up to the 2nd gen NA block?

I understand that the issue presented is the oil pump shape. Based on the two photos I got from the 3sx website, the '93-'99 TT and NA use the same oil pump.

Is there something im missing? This would obviously be quite a bit easier than fabricating the return fittings onto an NA pan.

Yes a 2G TT oil pan will fit on a 2G NA block so long as the oil pump is 2G. The difference is in oil pump and its shape 1G to 2G. I run a 2 bolt TT block with 2G heads and a 2G oil pump and a 2G NA oil pan that I had converted to accept my oil lines on my DR800 setup. So bottom line, yes what you propose to do will work
