How to change your wife's opinion

Guys, im in a situation here:

Still dont have the 3000GT here, so im looking for something else to put some time (And money) into.
I really have my mind set on a 1994-2004 Mustang Cobra. YES a MUSTANG! Hate all you want, but there can be lots done to these cars. IE a new supercharger etc.

How did y'all, if its actually possible (but i believe it is) change your wife's opinion on a vehicle.
I already changed her mind on a dog breed, but it was hard. And her letting me buy a Mustang will be even harder....

Yea, if you want a Cobra, get a Terminator. Don't even think about any others unless you find a 2000 Cobra R

Yes the Cobra R had a 5.4 and was closer to a "pure" race car than a Termi

Thats what i kinda got from the shallow "research" i did.

Im pushing for a 03-04 cobra, possibly convertible. maybe already modded with the right Kenne Bell supercharger, or stock with ALOT of miles for a good price. Its all about making that choice, just looking for the right car for the right price.

I see stock cobra's going for anything from 8 to 19 grand.

My cousin had a vert Termi for a short period of time. Just had an intake and catback on it. That thing was SICKKKKKKKKKK. It just sucked you back into the seat.

Well, Brian, that kinda what im looking for, enjoying the car for what it is (never did that in the past), getting all the parts and building it to where i want it to be.

But, in the next two weeks me and my wife are having our first born, so i cant really buy yet another car that doesnt run.
Her hating it is one thing, but if it doesnt even run, she'll hate it for sure.

Im not even certain about what those cars are worth in stock form....
