    FWD N/A Transmission Fluid

I ordered 3 quarts of Redline MT-85 transmission fluid from 3SX. I see that my car takes 2.3 quarts of tranny fluid.

Is this fluid any good? Is it good by itself, or do I need to mix it with something else?

I've mixed redline MT-90 and their MTL, but I think you'd be fine with MT-85 straight.

    I sure hope so.

Has anyone actually used it? What are the results?

From what I recall, MT-85 is basically MT-90 and MTL pre-mixed.

After I replaced my transmission, I ended up putting in MT-85 by the recommendation of other members. So far it has been great, shifting is as smooth as butter.

Thats what I thought.. but I didnt want to say it if it wasnt true.

Thats exactly what I wanted to know.. and hear. Thanks! Youre TT right, so do you have a 6 speed? Is the same tranny fluid recommended on both, the 5 and 6 speed?

Not a problem! The transmission replacement and use of MT-85 was on my old Stealth R/T (fwd 5-speed). The fluid should be the same regardless of if it's a 5-speed or a 6-speed.
