    Fuel Cell...searched everywhere

Anybody have pics of their fuel cell installed? I have done search after search and still have found nothing useful. According to the NHRA rulebook, you are required to have a firewall if the fuel cell is mounted in the trunk due to it being a hatchback. (trunk and driver/passenger area are not seperated) Also, it says if the fuel cell is mounted under the trunk that it has to be enclosed with sheet metal (of a specified thickness). But, can the fuel cell be mounted in the trunk, not through the trunk? Pics of setups would help alot. Thanks guys!

I will have pics soon, that is one of my next projects. Im going to make a bolt in fuel cell that fits under the car, so that you dont need a firewall.

So you pulled the stock gas tank? What's the capacity on the tank? Is it baffled or filled with foam by chance? Looks great Falcon!

Can't find any pics at the moment, but we've done a few. The fuel cells come in a wide range of sizes. I think the last two we used were 12 gallon with the the foam inserts, and we just checked the stock tank and mounted it up there.

I have done way more fuel sump kits on the stock tank though, because most people want to retain the stock tank for the capacity and stock fill in case they go on a long trip with the car.

Yeah, it has foam inside and it's 4 gallons. Great for weight savings but may be a pain in the ass when it comes time to tune with how fast it will go through 4 gallons of E85.
