    Cooling. System issue DSM

So on my Dsm I'm having a peculiar problem . At the end of the track after lifting throttle.I'm blowing the radiator.cap.loose , not off just passed the first turn to the safety latch.

I thought headlift at first but it Does.not make sense that It's after throttle lift . And i know It's after throttle lift because my.window gets sprayed through the hood vent with water .

Any ideas ? Also I can run it on the street all day at 8k rpm but at the track I was shifting at 9k .

its probally head lift my guess. i would put a pressure sensor in the coolant and log it with tps and rpm and coolant temp. that will tell you when you get head lift. if temp is good then its not an overheating issue. that only leaves one thing, head lift or bad cap. with a pressure sensor you can see if it is boost related or rpm.

This is another good thing about the pro efi you can log it, yah for me for saving up the big monies.lol

On my last built Dsm I had to safety wire the rad cap, and oil filter. The vibration at 8500 rpms would spin them off.

To turn my.Holset hx 35 into a super.35 . Basically machining the backing.plate to fit the 40 series compressor wheel and balancing the turbine/shaft to the new compressor wheel

you would need to send it to my work for that we can put a billet wheel in thier for ya. if it doesnt need any rebuild your looking at about 375 for balancing and machining and billet comp wheel. rebuild would be extra but we couldnt warranty the turbo without rebuiding it.

So that includes you supplying.the.billett wheel ? Right now.I'm looking at 189 for the wheel and compressor housing , and 129 for. New turbine shaft ( think mine is worn ) plus.seventy for a rebuild kit and whatever shipping . It would be great to get a wheel from you.but still leaves me with.needing. compressor housing
