    Lumia 920 vs HTC 8X

I work for Verizon so having unlimited everything for only $18 a month is very comfortable. However, I've REALLY had my eyes on the 920 since it was announced and so far nobody knows if Verizon will be getting this device.

Considering that Verizon may not get the Lumia, the recently announced HTC 8x looks pretty friggen nice. Granted it doesn't have the Carl Zeiss lens, or wireless charging and the battery isn't as good but I'd say it's going to be the premier Windows Phone on Verizon's network if the Lumia doesn't make it.

    The Nokia Lumia 920

    The HTC 8X

Both phones are definitely top shelf. The displays are going to be amazing, the 8x will have a higher pixel density than both the Lumia and the iPhone 5, however, the 920 will have a higher resolution.

Im not sure how trustworthy this supposed leak is but, phonearena says that a roadmap for Verizon was leaked. Big red has plans to sport all three flagships from Samsung, HTC, and Nokia.

So if that's true then I'm waiting for more color options but I will be getting a lumia 920. If not, then I will get a blue 8x.
I own the single surviving set of LMI 16t turbos...Crap

hah.. dude the Nokia software is nice. I don't know what HTC includes so I can't say anything

true offline gps navigation is nice, I don't know if HTC can do that?

I thought Nokia was going to license to all Windows phone(for a fee of course).

I will probably upgrade to a grey 920 when it comes out. I have my 900 sold twice already. I used to like HTC but the last HTC I had(android) the buttons broke 3 times and after the 3rd refurb I gave up and went back to my old phone.

    Apps by Nokia - Nokia

New camera apps for Nokia Lumia - Nokia

Nokia just keeps throwing great apps at me... Golf Caddie, ACC Sports, ESPN, Kaliki, There was a WRC app?
Nokia Music(free spotify/pandora)..., camera extras, six flags?, PGA, Trailers... etc

All WP8 devices will be powered by Nokia maps as the default navigation. Nokia maps was the main reason for me to get a Nokia lumia device but after that announcement I had to actually wait and see what everyone else was going to put out as far as devices.

Again Android doesnt do true offline gps. Unless there is a paid app now, google maps doesnt do true offline. There was always rumor it would be out eventually.

But Nokia put this out last week...

Nokia stacks up its maps next to Apple's and Google's, politely suggests it comes out on top (update: more detail) -- Engadget

well, its an exact clone of the 820... you can't even tell the difference

I kinda don't blame then on that one.

I don't do alot of video but wow... You pretty much might as well not try with the android.

I can easily tell the difference between the two phones. I don't see the legitimacy of the the claim.
