    you can probably buy a 1g stealth base for <$1,000 and buy a complete 2g conversion for <$1,000. there, i just saved you money.

    You can buy a 97+ SOHC for under 5k all day long, and not have to do any swapping, painting, etc.

    I would never want to drive a car with a $1K 2G conversion. Rather drive around with faded 1G paint...
