    The Carfax Thread

From time to time people have carfax and need carfax. Please use this thread to help each other out. Post here if you need a carfax or if you have carfax.

    I'd like to get a carfax for VIN: 2CNFLPEY7A6353459 (not a 3S)

I'm able to run unlimited AutoChecks at the moment for anyone that needs a vehicle history report.

CarFax, if you haven't heard, doesn't do unlimited VIN checks anymore. It's a bit misleading, their 'Unlimited CarFax Reports' plan only applies to license plates (which more often than not doesn't return any results).

If you're interested, I pulled up a report for that Equinox. Where would you like me to send it?

Same goes for anyone else if they want me to create an AutoCheck report for them.

Yep, that is why I created AutoCheck thread a while ago. But I did end up paying for one carfax report on the vehicle that I ended up getting. It was not much different. The only plus that I saw on carfax was list of visits to the stealership and their services. Other than that, I see no reason to buy limited carfax, if you're shopping for a vehicle.

Ah, I missed your other thread otherwise I would have gladly helped out. But you're right, there's not much of a difference between AutoCheck and Carfax besides a few minor things. Besides your example, I've read that AutoCheck has more of an exclusive deal setup with most of the major auto auction houses. For free, might as well run it.
