Are spare cable transmissions as hard to find over here as in Europe? We used em for racing, since theyre more direct and tougher. They got harder and harder to come by

O2A transmissions aren't hard to find, but you need to do a cable clutch conversion to the trans, or swap the pedal box for a hydraulic pedal box.

I've got the hydro pedal box but it's a task to fit it, Seat models came with the cable clutch adaptor for the gearboxes but they are hard to come by..

The Jetta sounds like good buy with the bolted diff!.
