There's some info about it here, Gump: TheSamba.com :: View topic - VDO oil pressure gauge accuracy

I'm looking for the actual article again, but I think I deleted the PDF I found. If I find it I'll post it up.

I threw on my new rear rotors and wheel bearings. I had to re-bed my rear pads... They were a nice red before (from the manufacturer) and they're now VERY black, I cooked them good

I swapped in a set of 30lb injectors. Dropped from 100% duty cycle above 7500 RPM to 86% at red line. Much better Easy as pie to tune for, just told MegaSquirt that I was using bigger injectors and it was 95% of the way there. Just needed a little full throttle tweaks at high RPM, and some low load & low RPM tweaks.

Made some mediocre power numbers at GZP today. But I know why at least, lol. Running 4 degrees less timing and richer fueling, plus tiny intake that's pulling vacuum at WOT, and tiny exhaust that's restricting output too. Fun stuff...

Then the f'ing shift rod from the shift mechanism to the engine bay broke clean off inside the car on the way home. Total PITA to replace...

Said f' that and put my TRD clone spoiler on my BRZ:

Then I rode around in a self driving car!

(not really, just my brother's RHD Golf)

I went autocrossing today. Finally got to do some wet running! My third run was the fastest clean run I had. My 6th run was faster but I hit a cone at the exit of the first Chicago box...

I swapped out some lazy lifters (they'd lose their prime and take a while above 3000 RPM to pump back up when I got the oil really hot) and I have no more weird random metallic rattle noise between 3750 and 4250 RPM. Pretty excited about that, the car finally sounds smooth and proper.

Also, I pulled out this lovely intake restriction... I'm sure it's perfectly tuned for a stock (or mildly modded) car still on CIS, but it's a massive restriction at my power levels. Tiny little 1.5" diameter hole... I now have the big oval opening which leads to a lot more intake noise at WOT and a nice noise when I stab the throttle

After prepping the GTI for autocross tomorrow I threw my new catback on the BRZ... Sounds pretty awesome, IMO
