Autocross this weekend was a ton of fun! My last two runs felt absolutely fantastic, I was really pushing it. I was shaking after those two, haha. I felt very comfortable with my times considering I'm on all season tires and my car is floppy.

I had state inspection today, which includes an emissions test. I was a bit close on the HC limit, but clean for everything else. Awesome! My driver's side door handle broke though, so I had to replace that this afternoon. My brother cleaned and lubed the lock for me and it feels fantastic now. Good stuff.

Man I'm jealous! VR4, Evo, BRZ, Triumph, GTI.. Share the wealth!

I have a feeling you won't think the GTI is so fun anymore lol

Don't worry, it's still fun. It's easier to drive fast since the controls aren't as sensitive. With the new engine it will pretty much be an even match in the straights, and with the ARBs and LSD, I'll be able to run sticky tires and outrun the BRZ in the corners too.

Is it sad that when I saw ARB i immediately thought of a class of drugs (angiotensin receptor blockers) lol!

I'm surprised it will be able to keep up in turns or straights! How much does it weigh/how much power? You should take both to the same autocross and see how they compare.
