Pennsylvania is a tort state though, but thats completely different.
Brian, no-fault usually only applies to moving violations - the incidents you describe don't really fit that bill.

That said, I don't know about Pennsylvania, and I'm too lazy to Google it.

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

More instances would be that my cousin pulled out in front of someone (Didn't see them. Sun was setting and he was driving a Wrangler with zip up windows.) Anyway his insurance paid to fix the lady's car that hit him. Also my sister-in-law nosed out in front of someone a few months back and had a truck basically monster truck her car. Her insurnace paid to fix the truck that hit her.

If PA was a no fault state I would be paying a lot more than $80 a month full coverage on my Grand Prix. When I had the Stealth under full coverage it was about $70 a month.

For some reason the political attack ads in this state are saying how "No Fault" insurance is one of the last great bastions of consumer friendly ideas left. "My opponent is against the middle class, he doesn't want 'No Fault' insurance." They claim it saves the consumer money.

Color me shocked. Good Bye Michigan!
