    Close a sale thread.

Maybe I missed the obvious but how about being able to close a sale thread?

I have not found a way to do that, that will not allow users to reopen thread closed by moderators.

Oh, bummer. I like to close a sale thread once it's sold so it's easy to tell during search. Any other options?

    Not yet.

MY suggestion would be to edit the 1st post to change the text to have "All Items SOLD" as the 1st line. Maybe bold and red too.

Alan, I don't know if this is an option but on the Grand Prix forum I am on thread starters are able to edit the title of the thread.

I'm not sure if that might cause other logistical issues though if you opened up that option.

Not a bad idea, can edit to add sold to the title?

You can do that. Edit the 1st post then select "go advanced"

It edits the title internally, but it doesn't edit it as shown on the forum page with thread listings.

Oh yeah, good call forgot about that. Something that has always annoyed me about editing titles. What's the point if you have to click on it to see the change? (for any edit not just sale threads)

    It works in this version.

I did test it before I made the suggestion
