Ranked No. #1 in initial quality
Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
Finally had time to do this - pics tonite or tomorrow, probably in BlackStealth's thread.
Couple of shots of the first mold, given over to an abortive attempt at doing it in ABS, but carrying over properly into the orange polyester resin one that worked a wee bit better...
Then as it was, freshly removed after about 30 hours, still a little sticky from lack of breath - final pic is as I would hold it to actuate it, minus the rotary knob.
Haven't decided to use Antero's, yet.

Basically you wanted it to be hand held so that with a knob you could just turn it with your fingers? I couldn't see where you would want to mount it like that so I figured it was a hand grip.
Came out nice!!!
What's the purpose of the metal cylinder?
Are you going to paint it a solid color?
I added the sleeve (very thin-gauge pipe) as a hedge against heat build-up during the cure; just slid it over the lead and let it rest on the bakelite backer.
Just wanted something in there to draw away any heat - turned out heat was a zero problem.
Don't think it needs finishing really, as it's going to reside out of sight...have you an idea?
Everyone has different preferences, I like to hide my electronics.
