300M Coil On Plug / COP Setup

You can get the coils from the following vehicles:

    1999-2004 300M , Concord , Intrepid , 2.7L 3.2L 3.5L
    1999-2001 LHS 3.5L
    2004 Pacifica 3.5L
    2002 Prowler 3.5L
    2001-2004 Sebring 2.7L
    2001-2004 Stratus 2.7L

You will also need to make plates to hold the coils in place or make your own custom mounts for them. Otherwise it is cheaper than using motorcycle coils and having to buy an MSD DIS4.

How hard is this to make. I am always to scared to make something that could possible hurt my engine due to me not making it up to par, anyone making these as kits and selling them?

    Thanks for the info!

I can possibly start making the harness's and provide coils but I cannot make the mounts.

Mean Green, interesting to see you`ve wired them up in series rather than paralel (sp?), is it to keep the load down on the PTU?.

Precisely. If it does not work out though, I will wire them parallel. Someone said earlier that they hit 15psi and got misfires but they had bad plugs and I also don't know the other conditions. My car idles perfectly with this setup but I have done this to eliminate my coils being a problem in the first place. I also made mine to where I could put it all back stock if I needed to without having to modify anything.

If Series does not work well, then I will try this:

Worst case scenario is that I get another ignition module / ptu from another 6 cylinder car that has 6 individual coil packs and wire it in.
