Alright... look at your EGR valve, there should be a temperature sensor coming out of the top. Follow that line to the plug (it's on the firewall behind the TB). If you don't have a temperature sensor, the resistor mod won't work.

I wasn't really going to tape it. I know there's a plug I can wire a resistor into to remove the cel. Anyone know how? I am not in CA!
Ty dbest! Ok, so I looked, and the egr valve was previously removed, but I DID find the plug for it, it looks identical to the washer fluid sensor plug. The next question is, what size resistor do I need to cut off the signal?

10 ohm resistor 1/2 watt... and for future reference The Pansy Patrol » The Resistor Mod: Avoiding an EGR check engine light in your 3000GT or Stealth
The pictures don't work but the write-up is there.
April beat me to it. Been running a resistor in the SOHC for several years and kept the CEL away.

Oh that page still doesn't work... I had to use the internet archive page to pull a "snapshot" of that page. Internet Archive: Wayback Machine the next time you get a website that doesn't exist anymore.
