You know how many times Microsoft has thought they were going to overtake Apples market? A TON. How many times have they done it? Well, lets just say I dont know a single person that I socialize with on a daily basis with a Microsoft Zune, Windows phone, or any table other than an Ipad.

Yep, selling something for less that is costs is always a road to success.

MS is hoping app sales will help it break even. This is the same thing they do with the xbox.

Personally I doubt they will sell enough apps to make it profitable.
