Just booked our hotel room in Sandusky, hope the weather holds up ok!

My boss at work went last Sunday with weather conditions similar to what's expected this Sunday, and he said the longest line was 20 min. which was for Maverick (which always has the longest wait times in the park). That is awesome, hopefully we can be that lucky!

On another note, for anyone planning on coming along on our cruise Saturday, bring a FRS radio if you have one so we can communicate between cars.

OK looks like we will be in the area about 7:00 PM, anyone up for that being the dinner time? if not I could meet up at Toft's, My wife is all for an ice cream stop. With the chance of rain being 40% on Sunday, the stealth will stay home, my R-compound tires that are worn to the point of slicks will make for horrible traction in the rain.

Ok, we'll change the dinner to 7:00 then, that should be fine. We could probably use that extra time to go get checked into the hotel maybe. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions on where you'd like to eat. I called Toft's, and they are open until 10pm tomorrow, so we can still stop there afterwards if we want.

Beth and I are pretty open to all types of food, so Lori or Alan can contact me to where we will be eating and meet you all there.

Lori does not get off work till 4, we may stop at IKEA on the way out and we'll probably eat before we get on the road. I don't expect that we will be in before 9 or so.

    UPDATE:

My two-year-old Allison has an ear infection, unless the planned sitter does not mind watching a fussy toddler, we will not be going.

Aww, that's a bummer. I hope she feels better.

Ok, for those who are coming and haven't purchased their tickets yet, there is a deal on Cedar Point's website where you can get one free admission this season when you buy a 2013 season pass. Season passes are $104.99 each, and one day tickets online are $44.99. So, if you were to take the $44.99 (through AAA we would be paying $40) it would cost you for Sunday, you could get the season pass instead for like an extra $60 bucks per person. That is not a bad deal really. I think we may actually consider that...
