In need of help

i have been round and round taking my car apart and putting it back together. its back again... for the most part, but i think the tuning is way off. i am running a MAFT, 3.5 MAS, 16T's, FMIC, and 550's. i have the boost turned way down (as far as i know). it starts ok and idles ok, but when revved it bucks at about 2500 or so. i dont really want to try past there after all the work i have into this should something be way off. i have checked acne checked again but i fear that i have looked so many times that i am overlooking something simple. what i would like is fore some one to come take a look that has tuned with the MAFT and see if you can help me get this thing back on the road. 4 years is WAY to long for it to be sitting. i am in Snellville (30078) and would greatly appreciate any help. i can provide food and drinks.

Wish I could get out there & help you, but GA is a little far. I posted on 3si as well but, does the car simply buck at 2500 and keep going, or does the 2500 act like a rev limiter?

Than I'm defiantly guessing the ECU. I had the same issue with mine. I'd send it to Rymer, he's a good guy.

You check for leaks, and did you check your spark plugs and wires?

brand new plugs, wires, and coils. i am sure i have boost leaks at the moment but it ran so bad when i started it that i couldnt make it out of my driveway. i am going to send my ECU off to have it rebuilt just to eliminate that as being an issue.

Fix your leaks first.

Open the ecu and check for.leaking capacitors, easy to spot.

ECU is out to be sent off. leaks will be checked soon enough. i know the computer is one of the main issues at the moment. i pulled my ECU out and installed a borrowed one out af a NA tt and it revved to 7k and i was able to make it around the block before it died on me. once i get my ECU back i will move on from there.
