    The main reason for doing it RR, LF, LR, RF is because the 3/S's ABS is built on a dual channel cross circuit, i.e. rr, lf is one channel, lr, rf is the other, so it's usually a good idea to bleed one channel, then the other.

    When I flushed mine we used less than one liter on the ATE.

    This. It's a split diagonal system. You'll find that most FWD cars and FWD biased cars are. You can simply Google that or look it up in the FSM.

    The manual gives the proper procedure.

    As for the fluid, I live 20 minutes away from the warehouse that supplies it, but they are a warehouse... so they only do shipping services. The fluid is $12 and the shipping is $11 Can you believe that!? They wont even let me pick it up and no stores in the entire city can seem to get it. UPS is a ripoff; I really don't want to pay twice the item cost to ship it to me 10 miles away.
