Really US soccer is totally different, men or women don't dive. It's all the other countries that do. Whenever I see a game it's always the other country diving and falling over, US players will take a hit and keep going.

I believe it's because of football really, they know not to be pansies.

Edit: Still can't watch the final on regular cable, it's only on some specialty soccer channel from NBC.

totally agree about US soccer. US knows they'd alienate any possible audience if they started faking falls. and for whatever it's worth, you're not seeing falls in the US-Japan match. both teams have a lot of respect for each other, and they just want to play some good, clean, top-level soccer against each other. it really doesn't get better than that.
