    TD04-19T vs TD04L-13G

TD04-19T vs TD04L-13G which one of these produces more HP and which one spools up quicker to deliver the hp the quickest?

looking for an upgrade and the TD04-19T is very cheap and atleast from what limted data on it apears to be more powerful but it's not made from mitsubishi where as the TD04L-13G is.

I would like to see in depth data sheets on these two if possible.

    At 2 bar 20°C, 5500rpm. 13G-H will flow 380CFM. 19T-H will flow 520CFM.

Both turbochargers are mfr by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. At one point in time I came up with a volumetric airflow map with demand lines of a 3.0L 90% VE engine with target boost levels of 5-30psi and corresponding CFM. I will try to dig that up. I pulled the data down from 3si a long time ago when I left.

Here it is. Just plot on the island and see where you're compressor will be on the map at varying boost vs. rpm.

    CFM

Same chart as above converted to lb/min

well I'm still kind of new to turbos and I'm trying to learn all I can about them before doing any mods. but is it a general ruel of thumb the more power the turbo produces the more lag it will have?

also other then the two choices I have listed do any of you guys know of any other turbo options that work for the 3000 and in power are some where between the TD04-19T and TD04L-13G with very little lag and are also resonably priced?

Didn't realize who you were till I looked at your forum posts. Figure out why your car can't do 125mph before you ask these questions. You are a long ways out...
