Hmm, I want medium. Sport is too stiff for normal roads, and tour is to boat like.
Thanks for the tips guys. I really don't know a whole lot about suspension.
93k on the body. Ball joints look ok, one of them had a busted boot, but I replaced that whole control arm with a good used one.
I'm considering the adjustable rears and boots. Ebay prices are only as cheap as $7 shipped each. If I'm in Charlotte this weekend anyway, maybe I could pick some up from 3sx.
I might just skip this step for now so I can go ahead and get the springs on. Hopefully tackling this thursday or friday.
I can't think of anything that's really in the way or that can't be just as easily replaced later.
Corey I think he might be selling this device soon
I have to say I was pretty impressed.
Would they be able to stay in medium with your ECS computer still attached?

With the ecs computer attached no. The self test will move them into soft mode unless a strut fails. If it fails it says in the position it failed at or when the motor stopped turning.
It will be a while before I start selling them. Have to get all of the parts acquired first. I'll probably work on them over the winter and have them up for sale come spring.... Maybe!!
Depending on how much salt your car has seen, the rear concentric bolts may be seized in the bushings of the camber/ toe arms . If thats the case, its a PITA to get them off. Mine were and i had to use a angle grinder and sawzall to get em out
93 Stealth ES - 3000GT conversion,AWD conversion, ACPT 1 piece CFDS, Operable AA wing, 99 rear garnish, R/T sails, ABS delete, SS Clutch line, SS braided brake lines, Vac clutch assist, 2G TT brakes all around, Kyb Gr-2 shocks, Megan Springs up front Tein S tech's in the rear, Cusco rear strut bar, Ebay front strut bar, TT cat back exhaust , K&N cone filter, Poly motor mounts, Poly front suspension bushings, and poly rear diff bushings.
Well, got new ceramic pads all around. That's the main thing I was waiting on so I can do all this in one shot. Should I mess with the ebrake shoes? I've never seen them wear out before, maybe just tighten them up a little. Guess I'll see when I have it apart.
Also, I think I'm going to attempt to paint the calipers with some black caliper paint. Good idea or bad idea? Suggestions? Saving powdercoating for when they're rebuilt or replaced.
Picked up some spring/strut removal tools. In the past I used some makeshift bolts and brackets, lol. The proper tools were cheap and should work better and will be much safer. Only $13
I'll be sure to take some before and after pics and get some good measurements. Can't wait to have all this done.
Addenda to my previous postage about not needing my adjustable control arms...I'm going to put them on when I get the chance - I'm getting a bit of out-of-whack, camber-wise; it seems the springs have settled some.
I think it may be attributable to the weight of the sub-box and my fat-ass.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality
Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
