Seriously looks like a brand new car.

Thanks. We missed ya! You better be at the gathering next year.
Thanks. I was actually talking to my coworker about it today. I told him I feel like I should say thank you for making me have to get a new paint job. haha
I have new badges I still need to put on.

On Friday I met up with Jester and got my idle issue sorted. It would go crazy lean when coming out of a rolling stop (like a rail road crossing or very slow corner) finally narrowed it down to when the ISC went below 50. So, changed it not to do that anymore and problem has all but gone away. I think it will be completely gone after a few miles and the ECU learns the new settings. Could have bypassed the the learning feature and eliminated it completely on our own. But I like the idea of the car being able to adjust itself based on real world conditions.
Also, pretty sure we've maxed out my current set up. Completely stock engine on 93 pump with EVO 560cc, 19THL exhaust and supporting mods. I'm getting right over 400 at the wheels. I was originally aiming for 500, but after a lot of research I don't think that is possible without heads on 93.
So, I will work on making my engine bay pretty, enjoy the 400+ for a year then probably jump on the e85 or meth bandwaggon and get that 500+.
Because this thread can always use more pics, picture of Adam and I's cars from the Texas Gathering.

400whp is MORE than enough for that car. Is another 100whp going to make a difference to you? And will it be worth the added stress on the car that may result in things breaking?
You have a very good point. But 500 on our local mustang dyno is a fun number. With that I would be at 572 bhp which would be in the same category as many new super cars.![]()
Also, it would be on a e85 switchable tune. Only use it for Gatherings and Dyno days, then run the 400 93 pump tune the rest of the time.

You don't have to tell me twice. Just don't want him going out there and breaking something and wishing he hadn't pushed the red button. Sure, 100hp is definitely a noticeable difference in speed, but my point was whether or not it was worth the risk. The car works almost flawlessly now. Wouldn't you rather just leave well enough alone?
Sorry. Sensible daddy speaking.
No, you have a good point. Which is why I will not be doing it for a while.
Made a promise to the wife of no unplanned downtime for a year. haha
But I am honestly not really afraid of breaking much. I ran the car stock for over a year and ensured that everything was mechanically top notch before modding. The build is set to not stress the stock bottom end too much. Especially the way I drive.
My two biggest potential breaks are, my bellhousing, I have a Pampena belhousing brace that I will be installing prior to the e85 tune, and my clutch. I have no idea what clutch is in my car, all I know is it is heavy and it has zero issues with the current power set up. But beyond that I wont know until I remove the trans for the brace install. That is not happening until September at the earliest.
If settling for 400 WHP is all you were after you should have went with 13t/15g. IMHO running any TD04 larger than mentioned under 450 WHP is a large waste of coin and fun. They pretty much all perform the same on pump gas with the larger compressors adding lag to the mix. I ran my stock bottom end over 500WHP all the time and the ONLY reason it bent a stock connecting rod was because I had a methanol leak.
The bellhousing isn't going to break unless you are launching it hard. Even then the braces have failed. Keep from shock loading the drivetrain and the bellhousing will be fine.
