Master cylinder, slave cylinder or clutch?

The car is a 1992 base 3000gt MTX

We just got the car running and the pedal is almost non existent. With the clutch all the way depressed I had to jam it into reverse. Tried to put it into first and it made a terrible grinding noise.

My question is, is it the clutch, master cylinder, or the slave cylinder? How can I check them?

my clutch went to the floor and ray papena says to have someone look at the slave cyl to see if it has any movement, if none its probably the clutch master cyl if you have no leaks,i have a new clutch master cyl but its just too hot to work on the stealth .
