crack in my bearing housing...never seen something like this

Anyone ever see something like this? here are some pics of my front bearing housing and the rear turbo thrust bearing. My new turbos with my new bearing housings will be here next week.

this bearing housing was from IPS that I bought from jasonY like 3 years ago. Even Dan from MTC said he's never seen one do this

I've seen shit like that before. It happens when you clock the turbo then force the c-clip back into the groove without eliminating the alignment dowels.

Were you having problems building boost ever since you put these on?

If no one is willing to take responsibility for it, if you take the c-clip out, clean the cracked surface well with a wire brush then some alcohol, I can pretty much guarantee that you can smother some of the right stuff on there and it won't leak. Then all you have to worry about is weather the compressor housing is going to fall the F off. haha
