I found Bonzai in a shed where it hadn't run in 10 years. On the drive home (I-294) it caught fire from a rats nest on the rear turbo. I popped the hood and ran to get water from the gas station. My Dad lit his cigar from the fire and told me to let it burn. I couldn't do that. The paint is perfect for a road course car!

I got to be honest, when he brought it to indy the 1st time and I heard the story behind it I thought wow he will be lucky to make it home. Later he ended up spanking pretty much everybody with that damn thing. Needless to say it's got better over the last 3 years. Well deserved win!
