Just as a caveat though, I'm not sure if non-DX fans will like it. The original was one of my all-time favorites.

STO (star trek online). Been playing this almost exclusively since march. I've gone back and started playing rogue-squadron 1 for shits & giggles. Imho, STO > EVE....but I'm sure that there's some convincing arguments on both sides. Space combat in STO is way better than SW:TOR, or so I've heard.

Dx1 is an awesome game. Dx2 wasn't bad, but not quite as good as 1. Haven't played 3 yet.

When I get tired of griding out STO, I'll probably switch to Fallout:NV--which I still haven't touched. I occasionally play alien-swarm as well (free on steam).

Never touched COD, BF or halo. Never felt like I was missing anything; I was too busy with UT2k4 back in the day.

I jump back and forth between DC Universe and City of heroes

Maybe if we get a group playing STO I migth jump back into that.

Dark Souls on PS3 was the last... a very difficult game by today's standards, which is why I bought it. Graphics are very good as well. Beat the first playthrough, second playthrough is 3-4 times harder IMO. Before that, it was Arkham City, beat the game, didn't quite finish all the side quests, some of those Riddler things I couldn't figure out for the life of me.

I play, but not often. Skyrim and MW3 mostly, I'd play Rage if it worked (Will not let me exit town without crashing). Loved Fallout 3, New Vegas, UT (all of them) and Portal2. Have DX HR, never been able to get into it.
All on the PC.
